The ELLIPSE faculty represent a highly accomplished, productive group of scientists with unified interests and complementary expertise in different areas of LLPS biology.
The close connections between the faculty are probably best exemplified by a number of already existing publications with different combinations of ELLIPSE faculty as joint authors.
Furthermore, as a whole, the faculty are extremely experienced in terms of PhD education, with a total of 65 defended PhDs between them. The faculty is also very accomplished when it comes to competitive 3rd-party funding including ERC Advanced, Starting and Proof-of-Concept grants, Welcome Trust grant, Laura Bassi Center grant, Christian Doppler Laboratory grant, FWF Doctoral Program grants as well as FWF, Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) and other project grants.
The faculty also includes 2 superbly promising junior group leaders and special mentorship mechanisms have been put in place to ensure their optimal growth and success.
